Scottsdale Unified School District Foundation Goals
Support the District's Vision to:
- Create and sustain 100% Excelling Schools by 2010 (currently 22 of 32 schools in the district are rated Excelling)
- Help each child excel to achieve his/her full potential.
Helios Education Foundation Grants $35,000 annually to support classroom programs
Bill Jenkins, SUSD Foundation and Helios Education Foundation board member, connected the two Foundations leading to a generous $35,000 annual grant from Helios to support the Foundation’s new grant program. This program enables teachers from all schools in the district to expand the learning experiences of students in their classroom. The program will be piloted during the 4th quarter of the 2007/2008 school year.
